Sports Authority of India through its Academic Wing NSNIS, Patiala, conducts Six-Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching in Summer and Winter every year at SAI Centers Patiala, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkota, Gandhinagar, and other centres such as Swarnim Gujarat University, Gandhinagar Campus, Aurangabad, Sonepat, Rohtak, Lucknow, Hyderabad, SRM University, Kancheepuram (TN), KIIT University, Bhubaneswar (Odisha), A.N. University, Guntur (A.P), BHU Varanasi & Singhania – University, Jhunjhunu (Raj.) etc for men and women, both  working in schools/colleges/universities/industrial houses and other agencies associated with sports.
